Prescription Services :

::We can dispense NHS and private prescriptions, and offer advice to patients about their medicines as well as answering any questions they may have. Whilst we carry an extensive range of prescription medicines we are able to quickly obtain those items not stocked from our comprehensive supplier network.

Electronic Transmission of Prescriptions (ETP) :

::It is anticipated that soon your GP will be able to transmit your prescriptions electronically to your local pharmacy to be dispensed ready for you to collect. At Copnor Pharmacy we are updating our systems to ensure that we will be able to offer you this service as soon as it becomes available.

Patient Medication Records (PMR) :

::We can keep an electronic record of all the prescriptions dispensed for you, unless you inform us not to do so . Your record would allow us to answer any questions you may have about previous prescriptions or indeed whether an over the counter medicine is compatible with your existing prescription medication. The record would also include information on any drug allergies you may have. The information contained in a patient medication record is covered by the Data Protection Act and no information can be shared to a third party without the patient's consent.
